My Wife Had Her Gangrenous Gall Bladder Removed March 26th

My wife had her gangrenous gall bladder removed March 26th of this year, about 2 weeks later she came down with a serious case of shingles( chicken pox) rash , all over her body, she is 67 years old and has multiple myloma and had a auto stem cell transplant on October 26th, 2016. She was in hospital for 6 days , released on 23rd of April, 2018. She is very tired,(exhausted), and not able to eat much during day. Question is, how long can we expect her recovery to last and is this typical? It took 5 days for doctors to diagnose that she had a form of chicken pox (shingles) because of the extent of rash and the pain in her side and back, approximate location of removed gall bladder.
