My Wife Has A Large Fibroid (13cm * 12 Cm)

My wife has a large fibroid (13cm * 12 cm) and due to this we lost our 1st premature baby (fetus 23 weeks) on 26th August 2015. Now almost five week’s gone but still wife having heavy/mild bleeding. Our Dr. has given some medicine to stop but not positive impact. In fact when we ask the Dr., reason for bleeding and she (Dr.) told us there might be several reason for bleeding but didn’t get any specific reason. I am feeling very helpless. In fact don't know when bleeding will stop.
Can you please help me in this situation, what should I do?
