My wife has a spell in which she starts getting very weak and has to sit down to keep from fainting. She had this about a month ago and we went to ER. She had a blood pressure of 195/105. All they did was a ct scan and said nothing was wrong except that she probably had a global transient amnesia event. The next day we went to another hospital and had an MRI and that showed negative results. She is myopathy and RA and takes methotrexate and carvedilol. She has just had another event. She has lost some of her memory and it isn't returning. She is 70 weighs about 128 and is 5'7". Blood pressure is normally about 115/60. Any ideas?
