My Wife Has An Extremely Swollen Stomach, Looks Like She

My wife has an extremely swollen stomach, looks like she is going to deliver quads. She has COPD, Afrib and lymphedema. She has had a
a cat scan, echo and blood work done in last two weeks. We are waiting for drs. to do something. Meanwhile she has difficulty breathing when lying down, thus no sleep. She is loaded with fluid.
She is taking worferin , so this determines when some tests can be done apparently. Possible liver problem has been mentioned. I am trying to understand what is or might be happening so I might be more helpful while we wait for answers. I hope this makes some kind of sense and I apologize for spelling errors.
