My Wife Has An Irritation On Her Soft Pallet I

My wife has an irritation on her soft pallet I checked to see and found 2 spots about the size of a dime just at the beginning of her throat they are discolored and I can see lots of small red veins the rest of her palet is ok
The past couple of weeks she has also developed very bad breath and constantly needs to brush her teeth.
