My Wife Has Extreme Abdomen Pain, Nausea And Vomiting. This

My wife has extreme abdomen pain, nausea and vomiting. This has been a problem for over two years. She has had gall bladder removed last year. She has had a artery repaired to her duodenum that was called a jejunostomy for some reason. She has had two endoscopy's. All these tests and procedures although possibly needed did not correct the problem. She has to keep going back to urgent care facilities or emergency rooms to alleviate the pain and nausea but, only for several hours and then gets released. She gets blood work and a CAT scan w/ and w/out contrast just about every visit that shows nothing. My question is "Is there something else the medical staff could be looking for that would cause my wifes issue as a secondary symptom?" What else could be causing this stuff to happen? Are they being thrown a curve? FYI her appendix was removed long ago. Any suggestions might help. After 40 trips to the hospital I'm thinking they're just not really looking hard enough.
