'My wife has had health issues, eg lack of energy, sleep deprivation and even confusion recently, ever since she was prescribed this drug for blood pressure (4yrs). Water tablets made the problems severe 3yrs ago, so the water tablets were withdrawn. Over the last few months, the sleep deprivation became much worse, so a consultant at Bolton Royal Hospital has withdrawn Candesartan from my wife's treatment schedule, as it could be a cause of very low electrolyte levels found by blood tests.
