My Wife Has Severe Spasms In Her Legs Preventing Her

My wife has severe spasms in her legs preventing her from sleeping. I don't know if its RLS or not. A few months ago she had a compression fracture on l3/l4. MRI showed spinal stenosis in l4/l5. A chiropractor treated her and the pain went away, but she is left with these spasms. Sometimes they can be controlled with icy cold spray and bengay then soaking her legs below the knee. Lately it has been harder to control. I don't want drugs. I want to go to the source and fix the problem. I think it in the l4/l5 spinal stenosis which was fixed enough to stop pain, but now the spasms. Driving us both crazy.
