My Wife Is 59 Yers Old, She Just Lost Her

My wife is 59 yers old, she just lost her mom to cancer and since then she has complained that her skin is burning. We live in an apartment with noisey neighbors above us and she claims they are doing something to cause her skin to have a burnng feelng. Could their be a chemical or physcological imbalance?
