My Wife Is 6 Weeks Pregnant. Her LMP Is March

My wife is 6 weeks pregnant. Her LMP is March 4, 2016. He had a miscarriage 7 months ago. Since Friday evening she is having some light brown discharge when she wipes her private area. She called up the doctor and a USG is scheduled tomorrow.
Can you please suggest what is it and why? we are very worried.
