My Wife Is Concerned About Her Spotting. We Found Out

My wife is concerned about her spotting. We found out this past Saturday that she is pregnant. We guess that she is about 5-6 weeks pregnant (based on her tracking Apps) and a digital test. Her spotting is brown though which I would guess means that it isn't fresh. Should we still be worried?
