My Wife Is Diagnosed With Hyperemesis Gravid Arum ....she's Dehydrated

My wife is diagnosed with hyperemesis gravid arum ....she's dehydrated and malnourished..she's on phenegran and saline and is hospitalised since more than a week. The doctor mentioned that considering that she's 7 weeks pregnant the baby won't be able to take any more phenegran and upon her lack of confidence and weakness due to repeated vomiting the doc has suggested abortion.please provide your opinion as we are unsure about the next steps
