My Wife Is Just Over 9 Weeks Pregnant. We Just

My wife is just over 9 weeks pregnant. We just had our first ultrasound and everything is normal, developing right on schedule. She is having to take a lot of Zofran just to function without vomiting. However, she has not had a bowel movement in over two days and is feeling miserable. I have done some internet research because her doctor is not available after hours. The results of my research have indicated that Colace and Metamucil might be an appropriate quick solution. However, I sure would like to hear the opinion of an MD. We don't want to do anything that could hurt the baby. Thank you very much.
