My Wife Is On Heptral For About 6 Weeks And

My wife is on heptral for about 6 weeks and still continuing. Her blood test showed GGT and Alkaline phosphate still high.Done ultra scan and repeat shearwave scan showing liver is OK. Why GGT and alkaline phosphate not improving and must she continues taking Heptral? Thank you
