My Wife Is Pregnant With Our First Baby Girl, Now

My wife is pregnant with our first baby girl, now hitting 40 weeks and 6 days. We did an ultra sound of the baby and they told us that everything looks normal and we should do hospital induction to deliver the baby. I voted against that, I would like for my wife to have this baby naturally. What is the best course of action please advice as I am really worried that I had put the baby's life and her mother in danger.
