My Wife Will Not Take An X-ray For A Bone

My wife will not take an X-ray for a bone mineral density test, Her doctor ordered the test and my wife ask, no she told them, she would not take the test if I was not in the room. They told her no because it would not be safe for me. Will if it not safe for my husband then it not safe for me. The doctor gave her, once a week, 50.000 units of vitamin D. Also she has studied the medications given and the side effects regarding bone problems and at 78 she feels she just wants to be left alone. Also she was told the test is required by the federal government and medicare will be dropped if she does not take the test.
