My Wisdom Teeth Are Coming In And I Have Only

My wisdom teeth are coming in and I have only one out of gum right now. My dentist didn’t want to referral me to an oral surgeon but instead take them out when they reach out of the gum. I rather have them all out and have it be a one time deal. Is this what I should do?
