My Young Son Has Balanitis And A LOT Of Swelling.

My young son has balanitis and A LOT of swelling. we was unable to get the cream prescribed as it was late and the pharmacists in our area were either shut or didn't have it in. The swelling seems to be getting worse and I'm concerned for him. So was wondering if there was anything I would have at home that could help him? Such as sudocream ? Will he be okay if left for the night without treatment ?
