Newly diagnosed with UTI. Prescribed Ciprofloxacin HCL 500 mg BID. The pill is large. Can I split in half to take it or even crush it. Does the med need to be taken hours apart from Ca, Fe, Mg or any other foods containing other ingredients? Thank you.
