Normally Very Heavy Period Flow This Time It Was Seven

Normally very heavy period flow this time it was seven days late, and light. It was normal color, just light flowing. I also ended a day earlier then normal. Took a hpt before I started and it came back negative. what could be the reason? I don't think I can be pregnant because I had my tubes done 4 years ago after a c-section.
