Not Sure Exactly How To State This, But There Are

Not sure exactly how to state this, but there are times when I am sleeping and I am awakened with a very muted sound of what seems to be like bubbles running through a tube with intermittent air in between that seems to be around my neck/collar bone area. Very strange, I know, but curious as to what this might be?
