Not Sure If I Have A Cold Sore Or Boil

Not sure if I have a cold sore or boil inside my upper lips. I treat it with hot/ cold compress it will leave then come back. When I squeeze it a lot of blood comes out but it looks like it hanging onto the skin. Gross, I never experienced anything like this. Thanks for your help. Back to work I go.
