OK. I Was Talking Alot One Night Later That Evening

OK. I was talking alot one night later that evening had no voice. Woke up the next day with a fever that lasted about 4 days and no voice for 5. Went to the Dr. got antibiotics because it seemed to turn into a sinus infection. I have gone through 2 doses of antibiotics still coughing up some yellow flem, but worst part is really sore throat only on left side and bright red. I did have my tonsils out about 2 1/2 years ago, also noticed on other side of throat there is a slit in the back of my throat about an inch long. Who do I see regular Dr. or ENT?
