Obamacare seems to leave a gaping hole in coverage. As near as I can tell, if you become seriously ill or have an accident while out of state, they will pay some of the out-of-network emergency room expenses. However, if you need surgery or are admitted to the hospital for treatment...you are on your own. Does anyone have any actual experience with this type of situation and know what the insurance companies usually cover?
