Ok So I've Recently Started To Play Soccer, And Before

Ok so I've recently started to play soccer, and before I tried out, I ran pretty hard the day before. I'm not in shape so I'm not used to it. The next day, when I tried out, every time I ran or kicked a ball my front thighs would hurt bad. I don't feel it at all when I walk or anything, only when I kick a ball or run. I thought I was just sore, but it's been about 3 days and it's still doing it. The pain has lessened, a little, but it's still there. So did I pull something? Am I still sore and if so, how long will it take to get back to normal?
