Okay, I Have Had Shoulder, Rotator Cuff Surgery A Year

Okay, I have had shoulder, rotator cuff surgery a year ago may. I have developed what (one) Doctor described as a bone spur. I have retorn my supraspenatious tendon and am curious if this could be why. Also how do Dr.'s go about treating a bones spur and can it grow again?
