Okay So I Am 18 Years Old And I Am

Okay so I am 18 years old and I am worried about stds. I am not sure if I am overreacting or if I actually have something to worry about. So first thing is even before I was sexually active I always had constant discharge and sometimes it would be white sometimes it would be yellowish and had somewhat of a smell but when I told my mom she said it was fine plus I had never had sex so I never thought much about it, but now that I have started to become sexually active the discharge is starting to worry me and I'm scared that I maybe have some type of infection and I hope to god if I am right (which my gut tells me I am) that this is something that can be cured. I haven't been experiencing any itching my only symptoms are the odor and the discharge which is sometimes yellow or sometimes white and the consistency varies.i know you're going to tell me to talk to a doctor that can tell me for sure if I have something wrong with me and get me tested but my mom keeps pushing it off till later (I'm under her insurance still) because it really isn't a priority for her and I was just hoping you could use your experience to tell me if I should be concerned or not and maybe give me a list of stds or stis that include these syptoms and these syptoms only?
