Okay So I've Been On Birth Control For About Five

Okay so I've been on birth control for about five months now and I lost my virginity a little over a week ago. I'm starting to get like spotting and brown discharge. We didn't use protection and I'm wondering if it's normal and I need reassurance that I'm not pregnant although I don't feel like I am, it still makes me nervous
