Okay So About A Week Ago I Notice A Single

Okay so about a week ago I notice a single red bump with a white head to it sort of like a pimple right below the under side of the the head of my penis.It didn't hurt at all so I decided to take tweezers to try and pop it. It didn't exactly pop but I was able to grab the head of the bump and pulled out a white relativly hard stringy substance, over the next few days I waited nervously to see if it would scab up as I had heard that was a sign of herpes. However it didn't but as it healed I was able to use tweezers again once more to pull more of the white substance out however it was a smaller amount. When it healed the bump completely it left a mark that is sort of shiny looking when light is shined on it compared to the other skin in that area. It's been about a week and nothing has returned in that spot. Does my problem sound like herpes or any other type of std??
