On 11-25-14 I Fell Backwards Down The Attic Stairs In

On 11-25-14 I fell backwards down the attic stairs in the garage landing on my buttocks and head. Had extensive bleeding never lost consciousness had no pain other than burning until the head was stapled up with 11 staples. Was very dizzy but as time went on dizziness deminished in quantity and occurrences. Now I have short 3-4 seconds promarily when I lay down or get.up. How long should I expect to have this situation. Had CAT scan in ER and was amazingly fine. To date have had no head aches pains nothing while the dizziness is getting better is this normal and how long should it last?
