On Friday My Doctor Prescribed Modafinil 200 Mg To Be

On Friday my doctor prescribed Modafinil 200 mg to be taken when I get up and then again at noon. I'm already taking Adderall XL 30 MG (2 pills so it's actually 60mg) to help me stay awake in the daytime. I also take Trazadone, Atavan, zanaflex for sleep. I took the Modafinil today for the first time and it didn't help ,e stay awake at all. In fact I fell back asleep and was tired all day. Does the Modafinil take time to build up in the body like other psychiatric medications, or should it work when you take it? Do I need to give the medication a week or more to work before getting concerned? Thank you for your help!
