On October 7th I Had Total A Hip Replacement. I

On October 7th I had total a hip replacement. I was given a prescription for 50 mg of indomethacin. after I was taking it the Pharmacy sent me a letter saying there was a chance of serious side effects because of my age. I am 77yrs. old. am going to have the other hip replaced in Jan. 2017 should I tell the surgeon not to prescribe this. I did not have any of the side effects
