On Saturday My Symptoms Began With A Sore Throat And

On Saturday my symptoms began with a sore throat and chest "heaviness" feeling. I had a slight fever, but didn't have a thermometer because we were traveling. Flew back to CA that morning and was had flu like symptoms (nausea, fatigue, sore throat and chest congestion). Sunday my fever persisted for most of the day and ran at about 101.3 at the highest before I took more Tylenol. Fever maintained until midnight and I woke up without a fever this morning. My concern is that my throat is still very sore and it hurts to swallow. Today I only had a slight fever at 3pm so I took medicine at that time, but it was a low grade fever. Should I be concerned about strep or is this normal for a cold/flu?
