On Weds. something bit my ankle while trimming vines in the jungle behind my home. I live in the Tampa Bay area. The bite was extremely painful immediately, but I did not see what bit me. It was a very sharp pain, and I saw a small pink dot at the site. After about 15 minutes the severe pain subsided and I continued working. This morning my ankle felt bruised. Now the ankle is swelling and itching, and it feels like a larger area is bruised. Should I be worried?
