On The Right Side Of My Labia Majora I Have

On the right side of my labia majora I have a lump that is red and swollen. It is tender to touch as well. There are other parts that seem to be black and purple. The swelling has gone down just a little bit in the past couple days but it is still painful to walk and sit. The bruising has spread to my pelvic area. What do you think I have? I went to my doctor but he said that I broke a blood vessel down there and the swelling should decrease in a week. I am just still worried and wanted to ask for a second opinion.
