One Day When I Was Showering I Washed My Vagina

One day when I was showering I washed my vagina (with only water as usual). I was washing away the dead cells or materials which accumulates around the clitoris and I stretched the skin a little to much I guess, because I felt a pain. It only hurt when I try to clean the area. The next morning and afternoon I noticed a brown discharge. What do you think it could be?
