Our 80-85 Year Old Friend, Female, Recently Complained That She

Our 80-85 year old friend, female, recently complained that she has begun to have issues with starting to talk and suddenly realizing that she can remember what a word meant that she has just used in a sentence. She lives by herself, walks for exercise, cooks for herself and may not be eating healthily enough. She is in moderately good health, not taking any meds which would supposedly interfere with memory. I have suggested that she see her "family" doctor right away. She appears to not like going to the doctor. She just had her yearly physical and appeared to be "ok" generally.
