Our Daughter Is Detoxing From Taking Xanax For Many Years.

Our daughter is detoxing from taking xanax for many years. She started cold turkey but started having hallucinations/shakes/talking crazy/not sleeping/ etc. She went to Dr. today and he put her back on the drug but with about half the amount in a programmed tapering off. He said next few days could be rough but did not offer any specific things that could be done to assist with her body shedding this drug off. That is our question; any specific things that can be done help ease the mood swings/shakes/hallucinations/etc. She is about 40 years old but otherwise not in bad shape other than detoxing this drug.
