Over 5 Months Ago I Fell On A Rock On

Over 5 months ago I fell on a rock on the top part of my arm. I had a really bad bruise for a while (covering the whole top of my arm. I still have a knot where it was injured and it is starting to be warm to the touch, also very sore when bumped or pressed on. Blood clots run in my family, just wondering if I should be concerned.
