Over The Course Of The Past Few Months, I've Had

Over the course of the past few months, I've had a small "rash" on the lower right side of my mouth. I didn't think of it at first until I realized it was absolutely not going away. It'll get less noticeable and more noticeable, but never fully heal. The skin is VERY dry, always flakey. Red small bumps but no puss.
It just came to me that the only thing that's been changing the last few months was my birth control. Due to prescription running out and changing doctors, I went about 3 weeks without the pill. Then I doubled (took two packs in a row), but I stopped taking the second one in the middle of the pack. (I know, not very wise decision, but I was attempting to plan my period around vacation and first week of school, ha.) So, I'm getting incredibly frustrated. It's embarrassing. It's not incredibly noticeable, but it's making me self conscious. The other difference (?) is the pills are slightly different. My new doctor apparently couldn't find what I'd originally been perscribed, (all I can recall was it was a 21 day pack for Microgestin) so she gave me a new one. I'm now on the 28 day pack of Microgestin. I just red an article on perioral dermatitis. Does this at all sound like it could be perioral dermatitis caused by my BC? I would definitely try to use this site as help before I try to schedule an apt, especially considering the next apt I could get with my GYN would be in a couple of weeks, and I can't even see a dermatologist without a doctors reference.

Side note: female, 18yrs old, pretty healthy. No prominent health issues.
