Over the past month, I have been experiencing what I would describe as a skipped heart beat. Sometimes multiple times per minute and then not for awhile. There are days where this may happen throughout the entire day and days where it may not happen at all. I have no other symptoms at all associated with this skipping. No dizziness, no chest pain, no shortness of breath, headache, or anything.
I do have documented issues with anxiety and stress, however have never felt this type of heart skipping. I am 38 yrs old, male, 170 lbs and in decent shape. My pulse usually remains below 60 bpm and when I experience this heart skipping, I do not have a rapid pulse. It is normal, just skips beats.
Full disclosure, in 2013 I experienced chest pain for weeks and an abnormal ekg. Was referred to cardiologist and went through both a regular echocardiogram and then a stress echocardiogram. Both results were normal at that time.
