PATIENT On CAPTOPRIL For Several Years, Daily Covering 4,5 Km
PATIENT on CAPTOPRIL for several years, daily covering 4,5 km in 45 to 50 minutes, no problems .
At Ch.gairdner Hospital, Registrar with a new Script pad insisted prescribing NORVASC to be taken
together with Captopril. Warnings or advice was not noted. On my second walk I had difficulty breathe.
Day following my walks I found myself collapsed on footpath. Intake of Norvasc was stopped, but collapses stopped any Power Walks. Puls had sunk to 28 beats. Left desending heart chamber had failed.
Three electrode Pace Maker failed to restore situation. Now 12 years later being krippled due to Norvasc my questions have been ansvered with "Thundering Silence". Ilmar Belts
