Pain In Upper Right Side Where Gum Line Meets Cheekbone.

Pain in upper right side where gum line meets cheekbone. I have no wisdom teeth and it's not that far back. It's swollen and red and looks as if there may be a small lesion. It feels as if there is a lump under the lesion. Painful to the touch but mostly on my skin on my cheekbone? No tooth pain at all. Not sure if it's medical or dental?
