Patient Is 72, Has Had A History Of Lung Cancer,

Patient is 72, has had a history of lung cancer, cancer has disappeared from lungs over summer, but patient has pneumonia right now and is in hospital. Has fast pulse and low blood pressure. Has been brought to emergency room today from the rehabilitation center she was at. What is the cause for the elevated pulse and low blood pressure? Thanks!
