Periodcally, I Have Pain In The Middle Of My Abdomen,

Periodcally, I have pain in the middle of my abdomen, about 1-2 inches above the belly button. IIt varies in intensity but doesn't stop me from carrying on normal activity. If I push on it, it hurts more. It is not pain that I would associate with typical stomach irritation i get, which is normally from acidic food, drink or too much ibuprofen. This, instead, this is just a feeling like something is in there - like the feeling you get in your esophagus when you eat something that is too dry or hard and doesn't " go down right." I am 48, 5'0" and about 95 lbs. No major health issues. Have had stomach irritation for which I have taken Prilosec and similar meds. This does not feel like those symptoms. Of course, I wonder if I should be concerned about a growth. Thank you for your time.
