Persistent Perihilar Perihilar And Left Lung Apical Patchy Soft Tissue

Persistent perihilar perihilar and left lung apical patchy soft
tissue infiltration which may be infectious,
inflammatory, or neoplastic. Perihilar regions are hypermetabolic on
the right being 3.7 on on the left the 3.3 SUV Max.
Worsening hypermetabolic left hilar node measuring SUV max of 7,
previously SUV Max of 4.

New hypermetabolic not morphologically enlarged axillary or lymph
nodes. Followup is recommended.

Interval decrease in hypermetabolic activity associated with a left
sacral lesion.

5 mm right middle lobe pulmonary nodule with background metabolic
activity. However, the size of this nodule may be
below the resolution of PET imaging.

Standard uptake value (SUV) cannot be directly compared to the prior
examination due to differences in acquisition and
processing of the PET CT images as the prior examination utilized 2-D
technology, while the current PET/CT scanner
technology utilizes 3-D time-of-flight.
