Please write your question hereCould methadone cause gall stones or maybe make it worse?? A few years ago I was going to a local clinic, was about to be detoxed out, but when they did my pregnancy test, MUCH to my surprise, it was positive!!! Well, almost immediately, I got very sick&couldn't hold anything solid down for weeks, went to the doctor & found out I had gall stones so bad that they were backed up into my liver&pancreas...anyway, now, my cousin just found out she's pregnant, she also goes to a methadone clinic, &right now, she's in the hospital&having to have her gall bladder removed tomorrow..so, I was wondering is there or could there be a connection?? Although I believe I'd had gall stones for years, I can't help but think that the methadone may have made it a lot worse--or maybe, the methadone&being pregnant?? Has this happened to anyone else??
