Previously I've Recently Had Swimmers Ear. So The Other Day

Previously I've recently had swimmers ear. So the other day I woke up with a soar ear thinking it was the same thing again.
I've had drainage after I used polispoern drops and at one point I had it turn a pink colour thinking that my ear was irritated I didn't use the drops anymore.
Now my tregus is swollen and anytime I lay on that side my ear hurts with a sharp pain, now I get the pain all day it feels as tho something sharp is being driven in my ear and it feels like it's going to drain again but nothing comes out.
Is this just an infection or something more
