Prior To Gum Surgery I Started With Amoxicillin 500mg To

Prior to Gum surgery I started with Amoxicillin 500mg to take out the infection so they could perform surgery on my gum by #31. They changed it to cephalexin after surgery . Once I had finished Amoxicillin, I started Cephalexin. It seems to be more discomfort since I made the change. Should I call my doctor and go back to Amoxicillin?
