RE: UTI - Urinary Tract Infection. Started back in June-July. Have been through 4 courses of urine sample followed by antibiotics, 3 different formulas. The infection was still going pretty strong. A local pharmacist suggested Uristat and frankly that seemed to work best. Have done their 12-day course once with best results of all. Have enough for another course. But...was referred to a Urologist. Question: What's the next step to get rid of the UTI? I can do another course of antibiotics through my PCP. I want to rid myself of the infection and keep it from coming back. Never had this before...am in my 70's!
